86/BRZ Owner White Paper 2024 The 86/BRZ was launched in 2012 with much fanfare as a new generation FR sports car. Then, in 2021, it underwent a full model change and is supported by a wide range of generations of racers. The Z♯8 is in its fourth year of model life and power tuning is becoming more common, while the Z♯6 has become more affordable as used car prices have increased, leading to an increase in the number of young owners. Tuning and customizing the 86/BRZ has become even more popular.
